Nella's Patisserie

Hidden gem of a patisserie/cafe! Lovely selection of cakes and sweet/savoury pastries which look like they change on a weekly basis/every few days (check out their Facebook page for what they have). I’d much rather support an independent family-run business than a chain bakery, and it’s easy when the cakes are so well made! The mousse/entrement cakes shaped like fruit look like something from the professional version of Great British Bake Off! Very Instagrammable but also has the flavour to back it up - subtle flavours, not overpowering. They do things like cakes, roulade, fruit tarts, mousse cakes, mini Danish pastries, profiteroles, brownies, entrement cakes, pavlova, doughnuts, round croissants, cake sandwiches, croissant tarts, strudel, pretzels, twists etc (depending on the day, not all at once!). They also offer focaccia sandwiches (chicken, and mozzarella & pesto options), and also a selection of the usual hot drink - you can takeaway, eat in or order on JustEat/Uber Eats. They also take orders for amazing custom/personalised big-size cakes! What I've had so far has been delicious but try for yourselves! Nella’s Patisserie is kind of hidden unless you know it’s there - the café/bakery shop is on the second floor but the door to go up there is in-between the Turkish barber and MPloy Staffing Solutions. It looks at first glance to be part of MPloy as the door is the same grey colour but it’s not (maybe the door could be a different colour?).
